Recommended method for installing on Proxmox

Is there a recommended method for installing on a Proxmox?

Would the VirtualBox-AMD64-EFI-DiskImage.vdi.gz be the best image to start with?
After creating a q35 VM with network interfaces I would run something like qm importdisk 109 SmoothWAN-0.99.9HF4-VirtualBox-AMD64-EFI-DiskImage.vdi local-lvm.
Do I need to be using a UEFI BIOS?
Is there a recommended way to increase the disk size? I think it creates a disk that’s 4Gb but I’d like to have more space to use ntopng.

Proxmox supports VMDK natively, use that image after extraction, and the importdisk command.
Next version will auto expand on first boot for the Pi and PC, current ntopng should work fine, I should rename to at least 4GB.
